Who Are We
Shalom…
Welcome to Gereja Kristus Yesus Pluit. GKY Pluit is pleased to welcome you to this site. Let us take this opportunity to introduce the about GKY Pluit to you.
GKY Pluit was founded on January 13, 1974, based on the recognition that Jesus Christ is the only foundation of the church and the Head of the church according to God's word in the Bible (Matt. 16:16; 1 Cor. 3:11; Eph. 4:11-16 ). On that basis, we are an integral part of the holy and universal church.
By upholding the Bible, namely the Old and New Testaments, which are the perfect words of God and inspired by the Holy Spirit (2 Tim. 3:16-17), GKY Pluit is determined to carry out God's mission in the world as a discipleship-based church.
Through discipleship, GKY Pluit strives for measurable growth in the congregation's faith by referring to the following four standards:
- Disciples of faith
- Disciples with Christ's character
- Disciple serving
- Student leading
The process of discipleship is integrated in various dimensions of GKY Pluit's ministry in answering God's call in the midst of this world, such as Worship, Fellowship, Coaching, Evangelism and Social Services.
We welcome you and hope that GKY Pluit can become our spiritual home together. For further inquiries, you can contact us via GKY Pluit's social media (IG: @gkypluit, FB: gkypluit) or via GKY Pluit's Whatsapp (0813-87000866).
